How it works

  1. Open Integrations

In Receiptly, open More, then Integrations, then Gmail.

  2. Sign in with Google

Google asks for permission to read your email. Receiptly only looks for purchases and never changes your emails.

  3. Browse purchases

Receiptly lists purchase emails from the last seven days. Scroll or load more to see older ones.

  4. Review and save

Check the merchant, date, amount, and line items, then save it as a receipt. You can also use a PDF or image attachment.

Common questions

How does Gmail receipt import work?

On iPhone and iPad, open More, then Integrations, then Gmail, and sign in with Google. Browse recent purchase emails, choose the ones you want, and review the details before saving each one as a receipt. Email text and attachments are processed temporarily on your device. The receipt fields you save and a marker for previously imported emails enter your library and can sync with iCloud. Gmail import is included with Receiptly Pro and is not available on Android. Can Receiptly change or delete my emails?

No. Receiptly asks Google for read-only access. It looks for purchases and never sends, changes, or deletes your emails. Google’s permission screen describes this as access to read your email, because Google does not offer a permission limited to purchase emails.

How do I disconnect Gmail?

Open More, then Integrations, then Gmail, and tap Disconnect. Receiptly revokes its Google access and removes the saved sign-in. Receipts you already saved stay in your library. You can also remove access from your Google Account connections.
